It’s Darwin Day!




Charles Darwin‘s work, On the Origin of the Species, first published in 1859, was one of the most significant, controversial and important texts of science and biology. His complex works were influenced by philosophy, nature and reason. Furthermore, he was dedicated to the scientific method of inquiry. But rather than creating another ‘here are the facts’ piece on Darwin, I decided to highlight one of the adaptions of his work.

Writer, Michael Keller, and illustrator, Nicolle Rager Fuller adapted Darwin’s pivotal text into a gorgeous graphic novel, Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species: A Graphic Adaptation
